PSX Rares List (prices)

Found this old blog and thought it would be interesting as some of you may already have
It is a ps1 (or psx) list of games that cost a lot more now (it is dated from 2008)
So if anyone got anything from this list, maybe you will buy a new gpu or smth
http://www.racketboy.com/retro/sony/...tion-ps1-games

(I am still looking for a name of a card game made by capcom and it was all in japanese, but i don't know where to find it
It was a dragon card game and it had 7 rings to complete the game. Been searching really deep the internet cannot even find the name!)

I had a few of those games as a kid. Unfortunately, they were all pirated copies my dad brought over from Thailand, so they are essentially worthless. My favorite of that list is Einhander. Was an awesome game. PSM named it "one of the best games you've never played."

I came across a mint ff game in a pawn shop one time, doubled the price and sold in on half.com, with in a day. Those things sell.

you mean PS1.

PSX was a console Sony released that was basically a PS2 with a DVR.

If you want to get technical sure, but the PlayStation was nicknamed PSX long before the actual PSX came out.

no collector calls the PS1 the PSX.

when you say PSX you're referring to the Playstation 1 Emulator or the Playstation 2 console with DVR.

I have/had a number of games on that list, quite a few I've already sold. Though, I am never getting rid of the megaman legends games, or misadventures of tron bonne.

Meh ps1/psx.

Im sure that 99% of the time when someone says PSX people would understand that they are referring to the playstation 1.

I usually type PS1 but I never had a console during the fifth generation, just a computer. Though emulators are nice for it. Can't figure out some hotkeys for save states.
Makes me wonder if the emulators which are based on optical formats would work in an optical drive and then read through said drive via the emulator. Been wanting to do such a thing for PCSXE2 and Dolphin. DreamCast is rarer I think.

Panzer Dragoon Saga (Sega Saturn, 1998) is probably one of the most expensive collectable games out. Brand new it goes for more than $1,400. Used, mint condition can get between $200 to $500+

Wow, I have a fully working mint ps1 with about 100 or so games stored in a draw somewhere with original memory cards, controllers and everything! I'm 15 so the ps1 was something big during my child hood, my first console

Sorry for picture quality, quickly snapped with my ipod.
Old days when I was around 5-7 years old, I loved DBZ so much I managed to decorate my ps1 with stickers of it
Digging out all the old stuff, seeing if anything worthy appears

it's incorrect. I am a collector

PSX is a codename to a console that never launched. back in the day Sony built Nintendo a prototype console that was basically a Super Nintendo with a CD-ROM called the Playstation Experimental. Nintendo was not happy and both companies went their separate ways.

"PSX" abbreviation outside Sony became a source of confusion when Sony introduced its PSX digital video recorder in 2003.

People try to distinguish between the old Playstation and mini PSone by calling it PSX but the PSX as Bumblebee says is a Japan only PS2 DVR. Still i would know that by PSX someone was referring to the original Playstation even if i knew that was incorrect.

The rarest production game is probably Stadium Events for the NES, even more so if it includes the box ect. World championships was never a released production game, it was made in limited quantities for a magazine prize and Nintendo contest, the gold version is extremely rare but also there are a lot of copies of the gold cart.

EDIT: FF7 is not rare they made a lot of copies. Ive seen people scoop it for a few pounds but ive seen it also be sold for a lot on ebay but i never thought it was amazingly expensive. Maybe the PAL version is just not as expensive.
lol i didnt know Daytona USA: CCE netlink edition was so rare.
