New build advice

A friend of mine needs a new system with budget Rs. 35,000/- . He's an engineering student and also wants to a fan of need for speed (has only played carbon & UG2 once till now). Prices of components are available here http://www.theitwares.com/index.php

For a future proof configuration should I go with the x6 the x4 or i5 2400.

Tl;dr: Future proof configuration for Need for speed series

Also for 32-bit system does the 4 Gb limit include graphics card memory too?

Edit: Typo in poll, any way to fix it?
Edit 2: Need complete configuration including monitor, keyboard etc.

Anything new you will want to look into 64bit.http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=91260

Try for an i5 2400 even if it means basing the board off an H6x chipset without overclocking. Although will be tough to build a full setup in that budget with everything intact.

I gave up. It already reached 32k without a monitor and video card. Going AMD would only mean you could afford a GPU, but still no monitor.

Well my friend this is impossible. Even if you go with an i3 Sandy and the cheapest board around, cheapest monitor, a decent GPU like GTX460, 500GB HDD, cheapest case you are still short of budget. Also he will need an OS, that's other money.

Thanks a lot guys. (toast) Got some really quick replies. After reading the thread by mussels, definitely going for 64 bit OS. I forgot to mention that the budget is only for hardware. Will let you guys know what I got finally. Thanks a ton (toast)
