Looking for a graphics card for heavy CAD work.

Right now I am looking at "EVGA SuperClocked 04G-P4-2673-KR GeForce GTX 670 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card"

What do you guys think I should use for a CAD workstation?

No point getting a non workstation card, if you can get away with getting a consumer graphics card you will only need maybe 5450 at most.

Going to want to look at nVidia for this. Normal consumer end a GT440/GT240 would do.

That is a high end gaming grade video card.

There are CAD tier cards, but most people in the community would say they are not worth the price. I would personally get something less than $150 as I doubt you'll notice the difference outside of gaming. For a CAD workstation I would concentrate my efforts on lots of RAM and a powerful CPU.

go for a FirePro V5800 or a V4800 if you are low budget
no use in getting a gaming card.
