It's not that. There's an anti-spam flood limit on clicking the button and I've hit it again, lol. So many smashing comments, how can I resist? It'll come back in a few hours though and then I can return the favour.

I always thought Qubits news posts were meant to be slightly 'off the wall' Well, at least keep posting in the forums about the shite that happens around the web Qubit.

But i do agree that opinions are for editorials. And that Glen Beck is a very scary fucktard.

Yes, some of qubit articles were tagged as editorial, right?
I don't see the problem if there's the tag which tells what kind of piece we're going to read

I don't understand why there's a discussion on news style, when that has nothing to do with qubit leaving the news team?

Glad youll still be around the place Qubit, Ill really miss your news posts , i personally didnt get them at first and got a bit offended by the slant of some of them(not now though editorial tag made all the diff to me), but i still deffinately enjoyed reading all your news and to be fair to you, debating the news and or your angle on it.
Sorry if i annoyed you with a comment or two fella, no offence ever ment ,i was just getting involved(too much sometimes)

sorry to see you stoppin

Well, just remember: Opinions are like a-holes, everybody has one and thinks that everyone else's stinks.

You will never please everybody, and as long as Qubit is happy with the situation, that is all that matters.

Welcome back to the life of fewer deadlines and less responsibility. It's much nicer over here.

I'm surprised they didn't value your content a little more. Any tech related content is just gong to help TPU with SEO and drive more people to the site, generating more revenue off ad's.... Sorta their loss if you ask me.

youre talking as if all the news editors quit their positions and left TPU - Qubit standing down as news editor doesnt mean that the world will come to an abrupt end. There are still staff to report the news - Life goes on

Wow, you read into that really far. Just saying content is king, the more you have the better. I'm sure they will be able to fill the gap. Just trying to be nice to Qubit.

Sorry man, missed your post. I've done this now for over four months, with the first story in September, about a case. Note that I did this one while being trained, so the style is very standard fair. The next article was all mine however and reported the Bulldozer 8.4GHz overclocking achievement.

Hmmmm, sorry, I'll miss those news posts, qubit.
I enjoyed the style you used, sorta broke up the cut and paste news.

I will still look forward to reading your normal (nothing normal 'bout you, qubit... you are unique) posts, as, they draw interesting banter, too.

Sorry about you leaving the news team Qubit. I have to say I read your news posts far more than any others simply because they were more interesting and provoked discussion. However some people cannot have a healthy discussion and it was disgusting to see how some people responded to you. I also note that some people cannot help themselves continue to show such behaviour in this thread which again makes me lose faith in this community.

Best of luck and see you on GN.net.

Sad to hear it q - I know many of us will continue to follow your articles in your new home. It's a real shame that this became necessary, but I'd have done the same thing under the circumstances.

Oh well, time to change the RSS configuration...
