TechPowerUp GPU-Z v0.5.9 Released
TechPowerUp today released the latest version of GPU-Z, the popular graphics subsystem information and diagnostic utility. GPU-Z briefs you on the graphics hardware installed in the system, and lets you monitor clock speeds, voltages, temperatures, fan-speeds, and other information in real-time. The new version adds full-support for AMD's Radeon HD 7700 series "Cape Verde" GPUs (HD 7770 and HD 7750) that are bound for launch a little later this month. The new version also has an updated ASIC Quality calculation formula that makes reading on NVIDIA GPUs more reliable.
Other important updates include voltage monitoring support for Radeon HD 7970 and HD 7950; support for some rare GeForce GT 520 variants that are based on GF108, GeForce GTX 555 (OEM), GeForce 305M, and GeForce 610M; and more reliable memory size reading for AMD Radeon graphics cards with large memory sizes. Sensors now refresh in the background by default (and not just when the Sensors tab is in the foreground). The board ID is now displayed along with the BIOS version string. ![]() DOWNLOAD: TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.5.9 | TechPowerUp GPU-Z 0.5.9 ASUS ROG-Themed The complete change-log detailing even more updates follows.

W1zzard, any more languages will be added someday?
P.S. Mine looks okay, no DPI problem.

Seems to fix the memory clock misreading problems I had with 0.5.8 on my HD 7950. Thanks W1z!

I don't think the ASIC quality interpretation is correct. Voltage correlation is right, but power consumption of high leakage chips is higher when using the same voltage. That's why they drop the default VID of those cards, so they should equal the low leakage cards. Of course they might drop it so that the power consumption is slightly less, but the point of the VID binning is to even them out.
Also on stock voltage neither is inherently better at OC since the the high leakage chips are given a lower voltage to begin with. Also software voltage OC is similar since low leakage ASICs can take voltage more easily, and the high leakage chips will end up hitting the OCP at some point. So you need to do a hard mod to remove the OCP. For extreme overclockers a higher leakage chip is what ultimately gives the best results, but these ASICs are not desirable for the avarage user. |

ASIC formula definatly improved and more sensible, I have gone from 117.something to 95.1.

ASIC Quality 79.1% on a GTX570, how good or average is that?

^^^ Start a thread for ASIC quality tables then we can find out! we can all then post scores, card, model, rev etc to get a feel for whats about. and especially if any particular manufacturers are creaming the best GPU's.

The idea is great, but I would be a horrible threadkeep! it would barely get updated once a week :P unless we can start a thread where more than one member can update the OP?
