Cooler Master Officially Introduces The Elite 361 Chassis
Cooler Master, an industry leading chassis, thermal solution, peripheral, and accessory manufacturer today unveils the Elite 361 rotatable chassis. A formidable Mini-Tower contender, Elite 361 focuses on versatility and expandability within a compact enclosure.
Touting a modern minimalist design, Elite 361 is engineered to be accommodating in space restricted work zones. Given its unique structure and airflow design, Elite 361 can be placed either horizontally or vertically within a space. A rotatable Cooler Master logo and four user attachable rubber feet assist in making these transitions. Front panel ports are positioned to be easily accessible in either orientation. Viewing the interior reveals that Elite 361 supports up to a full-sized ATX motherboard, six 3.5” hard drives while being potentially expandable to a multiple graphics card configuration with its seven expansion slots. Benefiting from innovate enthusiast-grade features, Elite 361 incorporates a removable hard drive cage that, when removed, offers a maximum space of 12.3” or 312mm for graphics card length. A large 120mm top fan and several optional 80mm to 120mm fan ports provides superior ventilation potential. Elite 361 will be available in February, 2012. For more information, visit the product page. MSRP: US $39.99. |

One question: Since the power supply exhausts air out the front of the case, how do you prevent that warm air from coming back in at the hard drive cage?

Don't like, never was a fan of front mounted PSU's. LianLi pc05 has the same type of setup, in that sense.

I recently used a 360 in a build and I must say that I fell in love with the case but I'm not so sure about this one.
![]() Why no mesh on the two fake 5.25" bays? Where would the PSU exhaust go?

As someone who's used a 360, the only problem I had with it was 0 cable management possibilities behind the back, I had no place to tuck cables out of the way.
Fortunately I was using a modular PSU....

I use the 360 as my htpc and it gets really warm, hopefully this addresses the airflow problem!

I liked the original 360, I like this one as well. I kinda see where they wanted to go. People wanted more HDDs,so they rearranged the whole setup. Not sure if this was the best lay-out, but I can live with it. Hopefully I will get one in the spring and will post a customer review here

The 360 is very customisable for what it is if you pickup the right components:
need more hard drives? BAM! http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product...=5&ss_index=17 need more space for a vid card? BAM! http://www.silverstonetek.com/produc...id=253&area=en so on, and so on...
