System Specs

First NVIDIA 80nm GPU Available in September

NVIDIA's first 80nm GPU, codenamed G73-B1 is coming in mid-September this year. It will be mainstream product manufactured by TSMC (Fab12), targeting on ATI X1650 family. Two versions of the chip will be available: G73-N-B1 and G73-H-B1. The G73-N-B1 will be pin-to-pin compatible to the current 90nm G73 version, sharing the original P345 PCB design. This will help video card manufactures to shift to 80nm production at once. The other G73-H-B1 version, will be home theater orientated with build-in HDMI and HDCP. G73-B1 will be available to OEM market, but there isn't any additional information if we're going to see it in retail version as well.
