If you ever get to playing Half Life 2 get the Cinematic 10 mod makes HL2 look real pretty.

Apparently no one reads anymore. The description on Steam clearly states this was based off the mod. The video you are looking at is of the mod. This looks to be on a different engine completely (not sure which).

I do read. I also checked the you tube source as the site vid didnt run. So i used you tube as point of reference. Yes, it was initially a mod but it doesn't mean it'll look vastly different. The intro video is lavish and beautiful and if that's the game then by heck I want it.

Can you point me to a gameplay video of it for me?

I don't know about you, but to me, thats pretty clear this isn't the mod you are looking at (also the fact that the video you linked looks horrible by comparison). This is not the mod, it's a remake of that mod using the source engine.

I'm not looking for a web spat buddy. It does look as if the game is running source at a really cool level so it's more than likely going in my basket when it becomes available on steam.

I only read the small description up top and watched the video. rarely do I read the full description and bulletins below.

Though it does seem the engine has come a long ways over the years, will be interesting if it really does look as good as that video.
