System Specs

Mini-Displayport adapter not working with Displayport cable?

I just went out and brought 5m displayport cable think its 1.1 specs and i cant get my screen to pick up any signal i'm using the adapter i got with my card, sort of like the one below im i missing some think I've never used this port before isn't it for mac

System Specs

I recently had an issue with mini display port to dvi links not working but after playing around with it it did recognize the third monitor for eyefinity.

I was told for the 79 series 2 active mini display were needed but I'm not 100% positive, though 2 do work for me.

Do you have the model # on that adapter?

Maybe try the one that came with the card and use a dvi to hdmi converter?
