NZXT Unveils Aperture M Advanced Media Reader with Mesh Design

NZXT, a company built on realizing the dreams of gamers worldwide, is proud to announce the Aperture M. Part of NZXT's newly crowned Aperture series, Aperture M is a 5.25" mesh reader supporting nearly every media card in the market including SDXC along with support for USB 3.0. Aperture M's stealthy mesh exterior continues in NZXT's tradition of seamlessly blending advanced functionality with minimalistic design.

"NZXT's new Aperture series brings PC expansion to a new level with high performance multi-media hubs" said Johnny Hou, Founder of NZXT. "Boasting support for breakthrough technologies like USB 3.0 and SDXC, Aperture M puts a wide array of multimedia options right at your fingertips."

Aperture M has support for CF, MD, SM, XD, SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC, MS, M2, and MSD. It is available now for $34.99.

is that 3.0 internal just for the USB 3.0 ports, or is the whole thing USB 3.0 with the 2.0 for supplemental power?

I transfer multi-gb movie files from my camcorder (SDXC) and moving to a usb 3.0 reader would be great!

Looks nice, like the usb 3.0. Pitty it doesn't have a firewire port on it. I still use that for some things.

Very few cards are fast enough to properly saturate USB 2.0 anyways.

I do feel your pain though, my Rebel uses a 45mb card

NZXT Aperture Availability date

Hi All,

I think the Aperture M would be a great addition to my White Phantom. I checked with NZXT and they told me it will actually be available for sale in mid July.
