Take your pick from this list
cant pick one for you because only you know if you have any of the daughter boards(upgrade path)
ASRock Future CPU Port: Socket939 upgrade interface for ASRock 939CPU Board (optional)
http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=K8Upgrade-VM800

From manufactures CPU comparability webpage

the fastest you can get is an Athlon 64 FX-62 @2.8ghz. you could probably overclock it though. and you would need this...

ASRock Model AM2CPU Bridge Card CPU Upgrade Module...

last site i found that in stock at wanted about $100

Without the upgrade card, the best you can do is an Athlon 64 3700+

Upgrading to an Athlon 64 3700+ would be a great cheap idea but as a "pro" in older computer rescue-repair and salvaging I wouldn't recommend overclock since the motherboard capacitors becomes aged. Follow the link posted http://www.asrock.com/mb/cpu.asp?Model=K8Upgrade-VM800 and look for Athlon 64 socket 754 cpu with 1 meg cache. Don't forget to update the BIOS and then order the cpu from ebay for around 10$.
