Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics demoed(IDF 2012) on 3 Screens

Intel IDF 2012 is happening @ Beijing now(11-12 April) and Intel seems eager to showcase the capabilities its HD4000 graphics..
According to Netbook News, the Santa Clara, California-based company is going to deliver on its promises. It has stumbled upon a demo of Intel’s HD Graphics 4000, this Ivy Bridge solution offers great improvements over current the Sandy Bridge integrated graphics. The HD 4000 graphics features an enhanced AVX acceleration, support for DX11 & OpenCL 1.1, along with PCI-Express Gen 3.0.

Apparently, they have shot a video of the HD 4000 integrated graphics in action and saw a video encode, HD playback and gaming on 3 separate screen and it was only taxing the system with a 28% work load.

The video is available here

video Highlights of Day-1 available here

If a video encode isn't utilizing any of the GPU section what exactly is the point, or if it isn't utilizing it to the full why isn't it?

Seems silly to me.

Buy product "A" as it encodes video, but either not as fast as product "B", but it only has to work 25% as hard to not do it as fast, or it does it as fast as product "C", but no faster as it only uses 25% of the available resources.
