Looking for a decent case, with built in filters.

So the soon to be in-laws have some major dust problems in their house, and I'm looking to help them find a new case, currently they have this, and needless to say, it sucks dust like a pig.

I'd like something in the mATX tower, or Mid Tower range. Price range I'd say a limit of $80 or so? Also, they don't care much for LED fans, case windows, etc.

I was thinking maybe the Antec Three Hundred two, but I don't much care for routing 4/8 Pin plugs in that case.

Appreciate the help.

Both look like good options. Does that NZXT case have a PSU filter?

Right now I'm leaning towards the Silverstone case. Nice sharp looks and decent airflow it looks like.

Does it have a PSU filter thou? Also I'd have to cover up the extra fan spaces/install more fans with filters.

Did a build with the PS-07... great case to build in and a nice big filter in the front and one for the PSU.

Looks nice too- pic of the build:

*** EDIT- FYI> nice little hole for the 4/8 pin connector to go thru and a pocket behind the PSU to hide all of your cables ***

Waaaay over budget. I could buy them Silverstone PS06B-W at that price.

Why not just buy some filters for a few pennies? If you need special shapes or whatever just go to your local foam and rubber store and buy a sq. foot or so and cut them out, otherwise 120/80mm fan filters are cheap as chips.

It is a really really nice case- solid, quiet, roomy (for what it is), silverstone quality, removeable MB tray.... the only thing I wouldn't do with it is buy for continuous hardware swaps

Because their case is crap anyways, dang thing has cut me twice already.

Yeah right, that's like telling my customers to do that. It never happens.

Two reasons, one is the design of the case wouldn't really allow for that, and the second reason being because their case is a POS and it NEEDS to be replaced.

When dust is concerned, there are a few things you should consider. You want to create a positive pressure airflow. This means more air intake than exhaust. This will prevent the dust from being sucked in every little crack of the case. This also makes it so that the only filters you need are on your intake fans. You do not need filters on every opening in the case.

Now for my recommendation: The Lian-Li Lancool PC-K7B. Remove the back fan and leave the two front fans. This will create a positive pressure in the case, so the only air going into the case will be the front fans. And the filters work very well on these fans.

I have this case and it is great... it has filters for the 2 front and 1 bottom intake fans and for the PSU... You'd have to buy a filter for the side intake fan if you want to put one there though... It's also got sound dampening material on it's side panels and over the side intake hole and the top outtake hole...
