ivy bridge

can someone tel me pls if ivy bridge is compatible with z68 chipset?? i allrdy bought motherboard,and now since i need cpu and price is allmoust same for 2gen and 3 gen,i tought i buy 3gen core i5! if ofcourse it is compatible with my motherboard!!

System Specs

There is a thread started somewhere in the forums talking about this exact same thing if you search and will find certain motherboards with some hybrid BIOS may have limitations with IB.
