Portal 2 Perpetual Test Initiative Collection!

Hello folks!

I figured I might as well start a club so we can share the various test chambers we create.

This is the first one I quickly put together: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfile...s/?id=68501663 Nothing too difficult. Let me know how you like it!

Post yours up as well!

I actually liked the first more, it had more engaging puzzles. Co-op was what won me over on the 2nd game. I ended up being the first only about a month before 2 came out, and I ate up the game, finished it in like 2 days (and I didn't mean to). I still haven't finished P2 Single Player, only finished Co-op. It just take too long to become challenging in P2. I been waiting for something like this, should be a lot of fun.

Change the title from "clubhouse" to "collection" and move it to the gaming section.
Just my opinion. I'm not a fan of "clubhouses".

Good idea. It'll take me a couple days to download, but I'm in for some fun.
If it takes off we can remove some of the old stickies and pin it atop the forum.

I think clubhouses are fine for threads that have the possibility to stray off topic over time. Something like Battlefield where it might become talk about just weapons/vehicles in general, or weapons people own. But something like this is pretty straight forward, not much of a chance to stray off, so probably better off here.

I'm wondering how difficult this test chamber is.

It was made rather quickly but I'm hoping it takes people more than 5 minutes to do.

Anyone want to test it for me lol.

It doesn't work as far as I can tell. It's a simple map, but problem is the fall speed of the box is too fast for it to stay on the button through portals, it just hits and leaps off. Which breaks the timer for the door, I watch the door lock open then close since the box leaped off the button.

Subbed. I love both Portals and this free DLC is great. Looking forward to some well crafted efforts from all of you guys and I may try doing a couple myself.

Yeah that one was a lot of fun, I don't think I beat that map i nthe intended way, but thats what makes it great. I remember on P2 Coop Ufgy and I had a level plan that included his death Then when I got up to the place I would send him portals. It worked, but once we got up there we looked out over the level and seen what we had missed, and realized his death wasn't necessary. We had a hunch they wouldn't have designed a level that forced one person to die, but oh well we got it done

That's not how you solve it. It is solvable, I've done it.

That is why I wanted people to test it out, to see how hard it is for yall. So far it is looking harder than I anticipated for yall

really wish you could have more elements in the editor, like I miss the energy balls from the original and being able to add the clampers, energy track platforms, fire, etc.

Though i will say that beyond the "you must have lightining reflexes" community ones, there are many many good ones.

Published "Process"; after hitting the infamous too many items error, I had to change it around a little bit, originally the finish was directly in front of the entrance. You will also miss out on the beloved Companion Cube, however it shall make an appearance in the next.

Additionally, does anyone know what the asterisk before "Published" represents?
