TYAN’s FT68-B7910 helps customers deploy a high performance computing platform for workloads in a high density placement which saves server space and reduces the total cost of ownership. The FT68-B7910 barebones server features support for (2) Intel Xeon processor E5-4600 product family, (8) PCI-E x16 G3 slots with support for up to (8) Add-on cards, (8+8+8+8) DDR-III R/U-DIMM, (1) GbE, (32) 2.5” HDDs, and onboard BMC in a 4U system. Ans: This is the new LGA1356 platform. An LGA1356 Xeon/Pentium processor packs up to eight x86-64 cores, a 24-lane PCI-E 2.0 root (8 GT/s capable), triple-channel DDR3 IMC, and DMI connection to core logic. It's not related to or compatible with LGA1366, although the socket looks similar.
