Super Flower Unveils 500W Modular PSU

To add choice in the mainstream segment, Super Flower is working on a new 500W modular PSU, with a manufacturer-rated efficiency of 85%. The SF-500K14XP, pictured below, is very similar to the SF-550K14XP, which was unveiled in April. The new model features LLC resonant half-bridge rectifiers, with a conversion efficiency that, according to Super Flower, is comparable to 80 Plus Bronze requirements. The unit has sufficient modular cabling to power a single graphics card gaming PC. Pricing information is awaited.

Silly name or not, Super Flower makes seriously good PSUs. Not everyday you get companies focusing on making their products rather than to come out with a better brand name

Review of a Super Flower unit (not the same as in the news though, but should give a rough idea): http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/S...r/SF-500P14PE/

Quite true, Super Flower have made very good PSUs in recent years, and they don't cost you all that much either, they're great buys.
