What GPU would be best?

I am currently building a computer in about 2 weeks and am wondering what GPU would be best for the games I play.
Games I Play: ( I Would like to play on Max Settings)
-WoW
-League of Legends
-Diablo 3
-Counterstrike
-Possibly Mass Effect 3
( I mostly play MMO's and MOBA's)

The Problem is that i had my eye on a EVGA gtx 670, but they are currently all backordered/sold out. This got me thinking do i really need a 670 for the games I play, or should i go with a Gtx 570 HD 2.5gb?

Thanks,

Walrus

What resolution you play at ?. If i was in the market for a new card i would get either a 670 or a 7950 that way it be better for games a year or so from now.

Only one i have not played in that list is WOW all the rest play perfect for me on my 6970.

the 570 is not a bad card, but its a bit older. However since you were originally out for a 670, Im sure you can afford a 7950.

The 7950 is faster then the 570 and is more power efficient. and its probably cheaper then the 670 too

What screen resolution? Give us the other specs too please, because a good system is a balanced system (and we need to know the PSU model, especially).

Edit: ASRock and FreedomEclipse beat me to it.

Well if it was me I would get the GTX 670, also you won't be able to get the EVGA 670 SC its been recalled.
Everything should work fine on your comp.

Every card out there is working fine with your PC. Future proof and best buy right now is the GTX670. I don't know exactly when the GTX660 will launch but it's sooner than later so keep an eye on that. I think it will offer better performance than the 7870 at a lower price (300$). If you want to buy now and don't want to spend 400$ on a GTX670 then a 7850 at 250$ is the best deal for the games you play. Forget the 570.

AMD cards will run fine with a Intel CPU. you are replacing a graphics card, not the CPU so there shouldnt be any incompatibility

If you can get a GTX 670, you should do fine with either an OC 7870 or a 7950 (7950 being the smarter choice)

Also, WoW seems to run better on nVidia cards.
Instead of a new GTX 670 or Radeon 7950, maybe browse the buy/sell/trade sections of these and other forums. You might get a great deal on a video card. Sometimes it's worth it to get an older card if the price is right.

I have decided not to go with the gtx 670 because of the current problems happening in its vanilla state, from what i have read about every 1/4 are being RMA'ed.
I am pretty sure I am going to go with a Sapphire HD Radeon 7950.( About same price as the 670, but with much better reviews and is a middle between the 670 and 570)

My heart is kind of set on Sapphire, best reviewed and cheaper than the XFX. ( I have heard nothing but good about Sapphire)
