Is there a S/N on ASUS motherboards?

Either I don't see it, or there is no S/N on it. I'm aware of the one on the box, but I don't have it with me at the moment.

There's three different stickers on the board.

One on the LPT port, second one is on the side of the 24 pin power connector, and the third is on the upper right corner of the board.

I'm assuming it's the one on the LPT port. Am I correct?

Mine was the one on the LPT port.

One more question =D

I'm RMAing a board ( M5A78L-M LX PLUS ) for my uncle. His board has audio issues. I noticed it's missing one screw off the AM3+ HSF mounting bracket. Think ASUS will go apeshit over that and reject me, or should I put a screw from my board for added security (I have the same board)?

I would put it on there, even if just temporarily. Im going through my first ASUS RMA and from the bad stories I have heard I made sure everything was perfect. I also took detailed pics of the board with my email, date, and RMA number as well as pics of the packaging, etc. Nothing to chance.
