Any way to disable voice chat in NFS The Run?

Is there any trick, hack or whatever where i could disable god awful stupid retards who have their microphones plugged in all the time, so i have to listen to their lame ass chipmunk voices, their stupid speakers static and their god damn burps and farts. I could sort of stand it if it was just in the lobby but this shit is working even during the race. I'd piss on all of it but i HAVE to play online just to earn stupid achievements and unlock cars that i could later use in single player. Any solution to this crap?

have you tried the audio settings on the game? maybe if you set voice to zero...
