Ubisoft has lost me as a customer, 3 video card upgrades and I can't play Anno 2070.

Just installed my new 6970 Lightning, went to play Anno 2070 and it wouldn't let me, I read online Ubisoft DRM allows only 3 graphic card upgrades...

Lame as shit.

Did you bother to contact their support about this? You'll most likely get actual support on this issue other than give up/make thread about it.

I just read this:

Quote:
'Just wanted to let you know, that we now remove the graphics hardware from the hash used to identify the PC,' a BlueByte spokesperson told Guru3D following the initial contretemps. 'That means everyone should now be able to switch the GFX as many times as he/she wants.

I'm not buying Anno 2070 until they remove the draconian DRM or the price is dirt cheap to put up with their paranoid B$.

Sorry, but I shouldn't HAVE to contact customer service about something like this. I will though, thanks for the tip.
