True gamer needs just good responsive keyboard. And durable. Thats why exactly this keyboard ticks all needed boxes. If I didnt have 7G, I would get this. Tho Im not sure Cherry MX Reds are best choice. My Blacks are so far best Ive tested for gaming.

Shame the cables are not fixed as i would hate to yank one of those thin connecter by accident.

Nice clean cut keyboard but i would not buy it what ever switches it had.

It would be nice if the keyboard had a clip to lock the cable into place.

I could see myself getting this if I needed a new keyboard and was able to test different keys.

I would love to have volume keys or a volume scroll bar. I think that rubber on the stands is useful as I use my keyboards with the stands up. Though I have never used a mechanical keyboard.

Some purists might think so. I enjoy media controls and USB hubs on my keyboards. For the purists this keyboard is definitely a no brainer!

Say what?

I like media controls. My ideal KB would essentially be a Filco TKL that looked like the Corsair K60, with the K90 wrist rest and the K60/K90 media controls. Such a shame they ruined that keyboard with rubber domes...

Did you take this apart and look at the construction?

The folks questioning the connector are spot on.

Failure rate on this deck is high, and will get higher as ALL will eventually fail, unless you tuck 'em back in the box and leave them there.

The way the unsupported usb cable hangs out the back means that the slightest tap will cause the cable to lever up the connector, and eventually the two tiny fingers of the connector will part ways with the pcb, resulting in first an intermittent connection, then a dead keyboard.

Not maybe.

Not might.

Will eventually.

To add insult to injury, when you do open it to repair it, you'll see most of the solder joints have the dull look of a cold solder joint.

Having repaired this one, it works fine.

Now I need to bring my deck in from home - the one with the led that's been dead from day one - and see if I can fix it.

Let me add that your review is a fail as well.

The specs are straight copy/paste from Rosewill, and I recognize some other verbiage from one of the keyboard geek sites.

Shame on you for being lazy and misinforming your readers.
