going from a 6950 I sold to a new msi 6970 lightning tomorrow, will i need reinstall?

will i need to reinstall the 12.4 drivers, or can I just swap them out and not have to reinstall?

You can just swap without any problem, I do it everytime with a couple of 6990/6970.

Don't worry, you just need to reinstall if you are upgrading to a higher numbered series.

stay away from 12.4 I DONT UPDATE UR DRIVER 12.4 has alot of issues i had to downgrade
