Prolimatech Black Series Genesis CPU Cooler Launched

Prolimatech, the master of cooling is going a step further after the success of the Prolimatech Megahalems by presenting another revolution in CPU cooling with the limited edition Prolimatech Black Series Genesis. Besides the immaculate quality - which is present across their entire product line-up - the Black Genesis sets new standards in cooling capability and cool looks.

Prolimatech continues the trend set by the Megahalems and Super Mega by utilising two separate towers, but instead of placing them next to each other, they have been rearranged for maximum performance. Personally i dont think the colour of the cooler matters very much, onces the fans are on it you wont really be able to see the fins anyway, not unless youre looking at through your side panel at a really weird angle.

I dont really think a cooler like this would be very popular with the X79/SB-E users as the cooler only cools the ram on one side.

coolers not the best but then how many coolers allow users to install almost any ram they want, maybe not good for X79 but for Z77 etc it works well as all 4 dimm slots can be populated but users can still install ram like the Corsair Dominator sticks without much trouble.

A cooler without fans is just silly IMHO. I know you get a choice now, but at the conversion rate, that is near $100 for a cooler with no fans?!?!?!?!

I have to think it isn't a straight conversion, as the original is now only $59, but this has to cost more cause its black.

I think you must have missed the part where it's either quieter than the NH-D14 while giving the same temps, or the same loudness as the D14 while giving cooler temps, depending on the fans used. This is pretty much the best heatsink on the market (except for maybe the H100); the only problem with it is the price.
