Reminds me of a time when things were better. Families meant something and gas was like 5 cents a gallon..lol..
Cookouts and picknics were actually cool, neuclear power was a bad idea..
Hitler was getting his comeupins...
All of these things, good.
And is it weird I like the ways girls used to dress? You know, not like whores.. >..> lol..

PS: Marilyn Monroe looks fat in that pic..lol.. By todays standards her legs are way to chunky.. XD

I like the 40's because attending brothels was a common and accepted activity. Also because it lets me see the World as it was before the resource wars and the nuclear apocalypse.

Well by the looks of it, I am a bit late LOL. However I will go ahead with the likes of that era in American history:

Music, automobiles, women, beginning of actual belief in space travel, television was new, broadcast of "A Christmas Carol on the radio, War of the Worlds was a folk tale, and some of the awesome people that have changed history of entertainment such as Abbott and Costello, Bob Hope, Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Dizzie Gillespie, and Jack Benny Just to name a very few!

Daniel Boone by James Daugherty was released in 1940 and is still a huge novel in many communities across this country.

Unfortunately World War II was in the minds of almost every human across the globe during the 40's. This war changed the lives of millions of people, not just in this country but world wide. Movies and books are still being written about this terrible war. Isn't something I like about the era, but a huge part of what makes the world what it is today.

Industry and capitalism was just beginning and would bleed over to the next decade to make a huge impact on all American lives for many many years to follow.

Man, a person could go on and on about this era in American history, but it would be a long and probably boring essay on history LOL

At any rate, if I am in fact late on this, I hope some will at least look up some of the events and people I have mentioned in this post. :-)

Good luck to all that have entered.

I have often reminisced what it would be like to live back then. How I would fit into the time period.

I don't blame those who jumped the gun and bought it, it is a good game

I'm moving the drawing up to around 2PM Pacific Time today so that if you do not win you still have a chance to buy it from the Steam Midweek Sale at the reduced price.

Thanks and get those last minute entries in!

Thank you for all the entries and participation so far. I got a chance to play the first few cases last night and I have to say the game is meeting my expectations- the facial animations are great, too.
Just curious if your interested in doing another giveaway since the Kings got someone better.

I'll make up for it during the Summer Sale

"I've got work to and I'm going to do it" -T. Robinson

I thought for sure he would be gone by 5, but for the second time the second best talent in the draft fell to Sacramento @ 5. I'll take it!

So MKG is worse compared to Robinson then?

You said that you'd celebrate if the Kings get MKG, but they didn't (because the Bobcats got him first). Then say that Robinson is the second best...so is MKG the best? What about Eyebrows then?

And the Mavs are stockpiling picks apparently, Zeller's going to the Cavs.

Talent wise my top 3 went: Davis, Robinson, then MKG. So yes, I have Robinson over MKG.

I thought Robinson would be scooped up by Charlotte which would have either left the Kings to trade down, draft Drummond and trade him, or pick MKG- in that order (the Kings owners and management are a mess right now, but thats another story). Of the 3, drafting MKG was my preference, but with Robinson miraculously there @ 5 the outcome was better than I even imagined.
