6950 sapphire wrong flash help!

Hi Everybody.

By mistake I flashed 2nd bios which was already unlocked with 1536 shaders to original 6950 bios which is now 1408. I have 6950 2gb sapphire dual fan edition that is 820mhz.

I know I am not the only one with this problem. I tried ati winflash & rbe editor...no monitor detected...my first single fan reference card flashed the first time to 6970 specs!

What an idiot...losing sleep over it...have to settle with 6950 xfire...wanted 6970...max payne 3 cant max out...getting like 35-45 fps...

any advice where to find the 2nd 6950 bios with shaders unlocked..GOD bless whoever helps

search google for w1zzard php script 6950 shaders. unlocks shaders only, then you can use sapphire trixx to OC to 900/1375 and slide the 20% power thingy up.

as far ash flashing back its not that hard. boot the single card thats messed up in the bios 2 position, then there should be a file that says flash back to 6950, simply flip the switch why its turned on and flash it back.

I will try...thanks...I already flashed it back to stock 6950 bios that is in 2 position (left side close to xfire connector...I learned the side YOU CAN flash is the one away from xfire connector(right side) So basically I have 2 bios with 1408 shaders...I originally had 1536 on 2nd bios...phew...like a breath of fresh air...thank you

yeah, my Asus motherboard BIOS update blocked the flash (Asus didn't want it happening), so you have to use w1zzard's php script to unlock the shaders only then OC in Sapphire Trixx. that is what I did and have had 0 issues.

Thanks...I'm downloading the file...You have xfire or single? WHat do you think of performance increade from 6950 to 6970 flash worth it honestly? Thank you if it works it will also help another person's problem, i seen this guy urik posting same problem on a bunch of forums.I Will leave it stock 6970 specs for now...what about fan speed? I keep at 50%...Also I have 1 single fan 1 dual fan which one should go on top?

dual fan should be your primary card, secondary card doesn't get as hot by default.

i think the performance gain is well worth it.

i keep my fans at 53% I can't hear them and it never goes above 62 celsius, xD

I am crossfire.

DAMMIt....It said twice bios successfully modded, i restarted it and it still reads 1408 in gpu-z...sometimes it says error...php not installed...I just drag bios into the black box and have it renamed original.bin right...would u mind telling me step by step? I feel like a retard...still not working

restarted again...still gpu-z reads 1408 I give up for today, Idk if im doing it right...it says php is missing from your computer error...there are 4 folders and i tried different ways...same shit. help me out if you can, its been a long day, wasted 3+ hrs on this bullshit
