New Build

I just the other day did a new Core i5 Ivy Bridge Build and I'm a little concerned about the Temps and was wondering if anyone could help me out.

The Build is as Follows:
Lanboy Air Case
GTX460
Corei5 3570k Overclocked to 4.2ghz 1.25v
8GB Patriot RAM
Samsung 830 SSD
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

My Temps are as Follows:
33C at idle and around 80C full load with prime95

It may also might be relevant to note that my room temp is around 27-30C. Sometimes its cooler but being that its summer it can get a lil warm.

Thanks so much for any help in advance. Cheers

First welcome to TPU!

Considering ambient temp, load seems OK. These chips run a tad warm when OCd & volt increase. If you can get ambient down to 24c you should see a nice drop in load temps.

Have you tried remounting the HSF and/or reapplying TIM?

If temps bug you that much delidding looks easy enough

Also these have a 105c tjmax IIRC so you have a ways to go before it starts to throttle itself

Thanks,
I do plan on reapplying TIM and remounting the cooler tonight to see if maybe it was an application error. I knew the chips ran hot but I wasn't able to find an exact threshold number and i thought that a 50C jump was a little extreme.
I Do have a little ways to go until i get into liquid Nitrogen.
Thanks for all the Help.
-Cheers

Your temps look fine to me. If you didn't apply TIM correctly it wouldn't idle 33c. That cooler is great, but is a lot better if you add another 120mm fan for a push/pull. Just using 1x 120mm fan those temps seem fine. I would buy 2x 120mm fans > 80cfm and add a fan control to adjust fan speeds when not gaming.

EDIT: I use 2x Scythe SY1225SL12SH 120mm "Slipstream"
