16Gb corsair vengeance @ 1600mhz

Looks to be a non K version so OCing shouldn't be a deciding factor. Why do you need a new motherboard if your current one still works properly?

I'd say this one:

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6...

Good price for Z77, SLI capable.

This. If you're not overclocking little point in buying a new motherboard.

just curious about whats good and mostly for possible future upgrades, i like to tinker with my rig and i may use my gigabyte on another build. may go to a single GPU in the future SLI has been a headache for me my original GTX 460 was a GF 104 and i bought a new 460 to SLI and it was a GF 114 and therefore not compatible for SLI evga RMA'd my new card to replace it with a gf104 when i got it finally it still didnt work (bad SLI bridge) ive been pretty die hard nvida but after this go round i may be trying a radeon after i do some research on them

If you are going to "Tinker", you may want to look for a K series chip cause other than ram OC, you are pretty much set in stone with any motherboard as far as tinkering goes.
