Get the Dell U2412M monitor instead. IPS and good price.

Or rather get a Samsung or LG monitors. Ive never really liked BenQ monitors. Colors are always very washed out, contrast suck, etc

I can't comment on this monitor specifically, but I have a BenQ G2400W that I've been using for a while (bought brand new for $400). It has been a great monitor. The picture is good, size is great, it has HDMI, VGA, DVI, everything I need in a monitor. The only issue I've had is the power button went back into the bezel, and I have to either unplug it or use Windows to put it to sleep after a few minutes because I cannot turn it off (and do not want to open it up to fix it). This was from my repeated turning off and on more than likely, or force, so not a monitor issue.

Asus monitors are pretty damn good man. Good choice. My friend had a higher end BenQ and the picture wasn't that great. Very washed out and contrast wasn't that great even though the native ratio was 1000:1 like all the others.

this one has got awesome reviews too, contrast is 1020:1 according a couple sites, no blur at all, simply amazing. TBH the benq was very nice too but the asus was too tempting
