Symantec updates Norton products.
Symantec realizes that their current suite of products, from anti-spam to anti-virus, have various faults. Symantec has been criticized for their products RAM usage, slow boot up, laggy performance, and general size. And so Symantec went to the drawing board and decided to remedy these problems in Norton Internet Security 2007, which fixes all these problems and more. Not only that, but Symantec promises new technology in its security suite- an anti-phishing shield. Symantec also has plans for Norton 360, which is a complete overhaul of Symantecs various security applications. The main purpose of Norton 360 is to compete with Windows Live OneCare, and it should be released in March. Norton AntiVirus 2007 is priced at $39.99 and Norton Internet Security 2007 will be $69.99. Current users and subscribers will be offered discounted upgrade prices.
