Dell confirms new factory in India

Computer manufacturer Dell has said that it will build a new factory in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Manufacturing will begin in the first half of next year, with the factory, near Chennai (Madras) making desktop products initially.

Dell now has factories in Penang, Malaysia, China, Austin, Nashville, Winston-Salem, Limerick and in Brazil. It's building a second Brazilian factory right now.
