System Specs

ORICO Intros 6518 Series Slide-in HDD Dock

ORICO introduced the 6518 series HDD dock that lets you snap in 3.5-inch (or smaller) SATA hard drives or solid-state drives, and connect them to a host over a choice of USB 3.0 or SATA 3 Gb/s interfaces. The enclosure is bus-powered when connected via USB, and needs an external DC power input when connected via eSATA. The body of the 6518 is made of ABS plastic, and is available in jet-black and silver color options. The dock provides basic power and activity indicators. ORICO did not reveal pricing or availability information.
