I have these headphones. I have noticed that they regularly go on sale for $7.99n on newegg. Good headphones even before that price.

Thanks for the review. They look like a far better upgrade to my almost broken skullcandy's.

Nice review!!
Perfect replacement for my broken Beats Audio's (from my HTC cellphone)
And yes - it would be nice with a microphone - but what the hell can you expect from 20 bucks

These look like a great "bargain" set of In-ears. I do have to say I like the "wood"

I have had Senn CX300's and run Senn MM 70i's(essentially the same just for iPhone) They were certainly ALOT more than these Rosewills.

Fredrik what is the copper "bump" in the cable? ferrite choke? Too small to be a volume control and you said it had no Mic.

No mic and no volume control. Not sure what copper bump you are talking about. I am looking at mine right now. Are you talking about the copper colored thing where the wire splits into the two headphones?
I can provide a closer pic if you want.

Yeah I guess that makes sense.

The picture doesn't really make it look like more than just one wire. "Derp Moment" Thanks for waking me up

Frederik...

Thank you very much for this review.

Your pictures we're superb...and thanks to the other guys for the heads up at the sales of these headphones on Newegg. I'll be watching for a sale and pick up a pair...these are nice.

Best,

LC

I've had these for about a year and I can agree with your review. I dislike how they fit in my ears, but they sound pretty decent and they survived a trip through the washer about a month ago (though that added some wear to the wooden parts). I also have a small permanent "kink" in one part of the cable, but they still work as good as they did on day one.
