Scythe Unveils Gouriki 4 Series PSUs

Scythe Japan unveiled the Gouriki 4 series PSUs. Available in modular (Gouriki4-P) and non-modular (Gouriki4) variants, the series includes 500W, 600W, and 700W models. The PSUs are 80 Plus Bronze-certified, and pack most common protection features. Common to all models is a dual 12V rail design. The 500W model uses two 20A rails, the 600W model uses 35A + 25A rails, while the 700W model uses 55A and 25A rails.

The 500W model has sufficient cabling for a performance single graphics card build; the 600W for a mid-range dual-GPU build, while the 700W is fit for a high-end dual-GPU build. Built with Japan-made components, the PSUs use 140 mm temperature-controlled fans, which are designed to be quiet. The new PSUs are slated for October 17.

Max load is 660w on that rail so yes and no. Means the OCP is likely to be set at 55A on one rail and 25A on the other. If I had to bet ones set of 6/8's on the 25A along with all of the peripherals while the mobo and second 6/8pins is on the 55A. Idea is it should never fully draw the rail.
