Asus PB278Q 27" 2560x1440 thoughts?

I just noticed that Asus are putting out this new monitor over the next few weeks, thinking of buying it for a new one, what are anyones thoughts, it will retail in aus for around 680$, looks pretty good to me,.

Linus tech tips has a great video on it. Seems like a sweet monitor I might buy one next year if they have a kick ass sale on it some time.

Considering hardware in Australia is generally quite a bit more expensive than in the US, it seems like a heck of a deal.

System Specs

Having owned a 2560x1440p monitor for about 2 months now I just love these things. I hope they pick up in popularity soon so we get better deals and choices. Mines doesn't have a scalar so for gaming is just redonkulously responsive.

My wishful thinking is saying it will be $300 less in the US.

Well thanks for thoughts you guys good 1, looks like ill try to grab it when its available why not?
Be perfect for photography id guess.
Thats not too bad of a price either really for what you get judging by other hi spec monitors on the market.cheers!!
