Where can I purchase 1440p 120hz monitor?

Hi TPU

Where can I get my hands on a 27" 2560x1440 monitor, which supports 120Hz, or at least 85Hz.

Thanks in advance

Doesn't exist. Even the ones that could be OC'ed were confirmed to actually skip frames even though it was reporting higher refresh rates.

There is a big benefit to high MHz monitors in gaming as it affects how well things look. Seans are smoother on higher MHZ screens and it seems to affect the response time in games as well. Gaming on a a PC the higher the better as long as you have the hardware for it.

Yamakasi no longer has models with PCBs capable of being driven past 60Hz, and even when they did, it was via a lottery system.

The Overlord OC models have such a PCB, but only 96Hz is assumed at best, and anything above 60Hz is not actually guaranteed.

If you insist on being assured of 120Hz on a monitor, you'll have to go with a TN 1080p model.

They stated that they are in talks as of the 16th to order more of these monitors? (referring to "no longer has models with PCBs capable of being driven past 60Hz")
