System Specs

gfx card fan power from card ok??

i have a 7600gt with a zalman vf700cu on it,would it be ok to connect the fan on the cooler to the fan header on the card?.

i know the slot can supply 75watts so will it be ok?

why dont you just use the power connectors that come with the 7600gt, u cant hear the fan either way

i wouldnt connect the cooler to your video card, the extra power draw vs the orignal fan could cause problems for the cards stab, happened with my 9800pro and my buddys 6800gt when we hooked the low speed zalman heatpipe fan to the onboard headers, moved to adapters or mobo connections and it cleared up nicely

That is if all 7600GT card are basicly the same. Arent they? They should be.
But if i were you and i wanted to get an aftermarket cooler for VGA card i will get one that is already upgraded. Like the one from Evertop for nVidia or for HIS for ATI. Should be cheeper and safer cos you dont void the warrenty too.
