His grammars fine but then again, I'm Scottish.
![]() If you want to stay red team, buy a 7950 or 7970 (but make sure they're custom coolers - maybe windforce 3x from Gigabyte). Reference 79xx cards are a tad noisy. But 79xx cards come bundled with games for now - very good deals and very good performance. If you want to dabble green, try a 660Ti or 670. Quieter more efficient, less memory bandwidth. However a single 7970 with 3GB of memory is a good bet for the higher resolutions, just don't buy reference if you like silence.

well so far based on my other post.
HIS one isn't that great but still I got no solid proof of stuff to show but I do hear a lot about Sapphire, Gigabyte, MSi, and I read around some topic about asus 7970 gets hot or something along the line so it's not good. try the 7950 based on recommendations by some people here from sapphire at least which seems great or go for the 7970 oc ed (the one with dual X) |

Funny thing about the bad grammar, it had me assuming he was a kid from the US. Despite being able to get your point across, such things can adversely affect how people perceive you on the net, but then you've already made it clear you don't care about that.
As for the cards, the 7950 Vapor X even when boosted is still 10% less than just a ref speed 7970. I still think an entry level non reference cooled 7970 is the way to go, unless you can wait for the 8000 series, which could be until March. |
