Giveaway: Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition

I just realized it's been like 3 weeks since throwing a little giveaway, and I just felt terrible about it. I immediately thought of how to rectify the situation, and this is what I came up with.

We have all likely been spending money on everything this week/weekend due to the great sales, so let's give something away for free

To Enter: As this is a post-apocalyptic game, please post something happy and cheerful to brighten our days, along with the indication that you are entering. Really good entries will earn extra weight

Requirements: TPU join date of September 2012 or earlier, post count of 50, must have an active Steam account, and must not own the game (no exceptions). The game will sent directly in Steam.

* Active WCG & F@H members will get a double chance entry and are exempt from join/post requirements

** I'm asking the most few recent winners to sit this one out so as to give everyone a fair chance. If little interest is shown, I will update saying that all are welcome

Closing Time: Wed @5pm EST (+/- without notice but usually depending on interest), with the winner announced shortly thereafter

Random: The winner will be selected using Random.org. I've Ford's randompickline, but sometimes the giveaway ends while I'm out and unable to access that. So using random.org, I can announce at any time. (thanks for the reminder Techtu)

Important: Once announced and PM'd, the winner will have a firm 36 hours to claim their prize. If not, the winner forfeits their earning and a new winner will be drawn!

Of course: I'd just like to add in a little shout out to the great members of TPU: from the hard work done by W1zz and his fellow minion moderators, to the reviewers, to the dedicated work of the WCG and F@H teams, and to all the good folk that make this place such a great place to be.

i took a photo of a pretty horsie while i was at work.

i patted it, took the photo, and then it started neighing to get its owner(s) attention and stamping its feet, acting like a guard dog XD

(the catch is that i own the standard edition of new vegas. if that rules me out, i'd like my entry to go to my GF, who is a poor aspiring gamer :P)

I can understand the confusion regarding the requirements. After all, they were spelled out clearly in bold, indicating that you must be a member since September of this year and have at least 50 posts.

These requirements are not meant to be burdensome, but rather are there to ensure that those who participate in the giveaways are ones who have been active members of the TPU community, not free loaders.

Something cheerful huh...

Well just a couple of months ago now I got my woman up the duff and honestly I'm starting to see the change in her! Your probably thinking this can't be cheerful but wait until you hear this...

She hated any game that wasn't called "The Sims" and despised me for enjoying the time I do gaming, however, she is now a raging hot headed zombie killing freak who loves nothing more than driving round the streets of Kennedy Town (Sleeping Dogs) killing innocent civilians and police who have done nothing but try to get on with their oh so virtual life's...

Who'd of thought getting a woman pregnant would of turned her into the gaming geek she now well and truly is!
