Wortmann Rolls Outs the 2230W 22-Inch Monitor
Wortmann AG has expanded its monitor offering by releasing a new 22-inch model, the Terra LED 2230W Greenline Plus. Seen below, this business-oriented display has a white chassis, a native resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels, a 5 ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 15,000,000:1, 250 cd/m2 brightness, plus D-Sub and DVI inputs.
The 2230W is backed by a three-year warranty and costs €199.

I like that resolution in that package, but way to expensive.

Why are some companies regressing in monitors. This monitor isn't even priced right, I could get a 1080p 22" for almost half the price.
Thought this might have been a necro post from 2006, I was wrong. At least it has DVI i guess.

Not me. I'd have to change the DPI settings then and some stuff don't play nice with that.

Really? Having used monitors of this size and res at my old college, I found that everything seemed comedy huge. I am somewhat long-sighted, tbf.

1680x1050: Because 1080p would just be way too many pixels on a 22" monitor in an era where 10" tablets get 1600p screens

Changing DPI settings in Win7 still brakes some stuff, so yes I do think it's too many pixels. Tablets is another thing. I don't see the problem with this monitor, except the price.
