I like that resolution in that package, but way to expensive.

Why are some companies regressing in monitors. This monitor isn't even priced right, I could get a 1080p 22" for almost half the price.

Thought this might have been a necro post from 2006, I was wrong. At least it has DVI i guess.

I'd want at least 1080p for this screen size.

Not me. I'd have to change the DPI settings then and some stuff don't play nice with that.

Really? Having used monitors of this size and res at my old college, I found that everything seemed comedy huge. I am somewhat long-sighted, tbf.

1680x1050: Because 1080p would just be way too many pixels on a 22" monitor in an era where 10" tablets get 1600p screens

Changing DPI settings in Win7 still brakes some stuff, so yes I do think it's too many pixels. Tablets is another thing. I don't see the problem with this monitor, except the price.

You must be talking about the new Nexus 10. It might just be the first tablet that I buy for myself.

1600p tablet, with all the features you would ever want. The entire package is more than $1000 though.
