Why does my graphics card crash in Photoshop but not in games?

System Specs

It might be the ASUS software. Having SmartDoctor and GamerOSD installed in my computer (when I had my 440) constantly crashed games. Try uninstalling it, maybe Afterburner will work?

System Specs

does it still crash with accelleration off in PS? you might also wanna add it to the DEP exceptions as well, as it still has legacy code that newer OSes still have trouble with, as it registers as malicious and triggers DEP. I have to disable DEP for PS as a result.

Same problem here, ps crash with fault module from ati driver, so it is something wrong between ati driver and ps6, after last update of ps6 (13.0.1.1), when ps6 it is using the vga , it is not crashing so frequently(I can disable use of vga but I miss a lot of bonus the ps6 it have,exanning,etc..)...

I'm gonna uninstall the ASUS software first
THEN try turning off acceleration
