3930k and H100 paste question

Hi.

I have these components ready right now but I'm confused on the thermal paste question. I have AS5 + Arcticlean. I've heard that the H100 comes with pretty decent pre-applied paste so my question is

1. Does the 3939k come with pre-applied paste?
2. If not should I apply AS5 to the cpu even when the h100 has pre-applied paste?

the 3939k comes with its own paste, but its on the bottom of the stock CPU cooler.

You can use other thermal paste's if you want. just remember to clean the one off the corsair waterblock first.

I'd go ahead and use the stuff that Corsair applies. It's actually quite good paste--and there's just the right amount distributed very evenly

3930k doesn't come with a stock cooler but I think I understand a little better now. Cpus are shipped with the paste pre applied to the stock coolers and not the cpu itself correct?
This will make it just fine for me to slap the h100 on the 3930k with stock paste.

Correct. Intel and AMD stock coolers come with a bit of paste on them; the CPUs are completely bare. So you can just slap the H100 on the 3930k, using the paste from the H100
