Question - why did you do tests at 1100W on page 5?

overload tests. To check if the PSU handles well some extra load (110%).
I included this test after some demands..

I thought as much, just wasn't sure - you should've included that info in the review so people liek me don't get confused. Also I would've added a note about the build quality issue (fan control PCB) in the "negatives" in the summary.

Any idea why SuperFlower went with 10 IPP041N04Ns when 2 would've been able to comfortably handle this PSU's capacity? Perhaps this amount of overkill is one of the reasons for the exceptional +12V stability?

Any news on when/if you are getting the 1600w model?

Because I didn't have a second sample in hand to check if the fan PCB issue is replicated or fixed, this is why I didn't added to the negatives. However I deducted some build quality points. And the thing is that with a little glue this problem would be easily solved.

More fets working in parallel mean less Amps passing by from them so less energy losses. This leads to efficiency increase. The +12V stability has more to do with the feedback circuit and the overall design of the secondary side rather than the number of rectifying fets.

I can't wait to see how it compares to the other 1600w model you have tested.
