I am considering buying an FX CPU ( 8350) , Is it possible to get say a six core ( 6300) and unlock 2 cores to get the 8 core ? Sorry to ask, but hey ho its nearly Xmas and miracales do happen |

Only a select number of Phenom II processors can be unlocked this way, no FX's at all however.
