And that is correct. There is undeniably potential for abuse however.

Absolutely, especially on some of the other bundles that give a key for each game and DRM-Free downloads.

Letting people pay any price has that potential more than buying it for a fair price and separating keys would anyhow

And they are hoping by being humble they will succeed with their charity. Hence the name... I underpay and I know it. I just do it correctly and legally. If I buy more bundles to give people games they can't use then it doesn't hurt me because I'm donating and it helps the devs by getting more money.

By arguing semantics I would be in your shoes. I'm talking about cold hard fact. The Steam Keys are to be dealt with in the fashion the company has outlined. Your advocating of abuse because its easy is the reason people need locks on their doors and carry concealed weapons for protection. Who suffers and who looses? Everyone because your easy fix works against a system put in place to do good things.

All I can say is people need to buy it (and be reasonable on the amount ). If not because these games are great for an unbeatable price, do it because THQ is one of the last decent publishers and they need the money!
Then again, they wouldn't be desperate if it weren't for the fact that most of those games aren't in fact all that great. It's kinda sad that Metro is tossed into that bundle. It's a way better game than the rest of them. The worst tragedy of all is how they ruined then abandoned the Red Faction series after the excellent Guerrilla title.

It's going to take more than a better optimized Last Light to keep THQ from slipping into darkness sales wise, and Red Faction was one series that had the potential to do that.

I've donated to many Humble Bundles, regardless of whether or not I own the items; it's the charity where most my money goes. This latest one I donated, even though I already own CoH (epic game, highly recommended) and Metro 2033. The others, like Darksiders and Red Faction (haven't been a fan since RF2), don't interest me. Of course I got SR3, but not too fussed about that either.

I just hope most people pay above the average; other forums who have posted this bundle have heaps of people paying only $1. Some money is better than no money, but come on...

Abuse would imply that someone was being abused, in this particular situation that isn't the case, no one is being harmed. Buying multiple bundles and giving them away, the whole bundle, making sure it stays one bundle per person is not abuse.

Forgot to post that if you were seeing a delay you could just request your keys by typing your email on the website and all the codes will be there. I did that about 10mins after I posted the delay and got the links in my email immediately

Thanks, it's all good, as I went into my phone history and reloaded the page that had them originally. I am just surprised that it took this long.

THQ is in bad shape.
Earlier this month they released their quarterly income statement and reported a $21M loss.
Shortly afterward they defaulted on a $50M loan from Wells Fargo.
Since then they have cut a deal with Wells Fargo who stated that it will continue to fund THQ (probably to help keep them from going into administration (ie. bankrupt)), and THQs Chief Financial Officer, Paul Pucino, resigned and a replacement has not been announced.

Just thought you might want to know where they stand. The income from the HIB will certainly help (to what extent remains to be seen) and I think you should all pony up more to help THQ because I like them.

Yeah, Udraw is the reason why they're in financial trouble. They invested huge amounts of money into it and it wasn't just a flop, it was a disaster. Now they have all those Udraw products sitting in warehouses with no buyers.

They learned from that mistake though--they're abandoning it. Everything now is basically a last ditch effort to save the company.

Sooo wait I can buy this and give the keys away to the ones I already own?.... AHHAHAHA j/k I just got it! I started to buy SR3 when it was on sale for $13 last steam sale, but figured I'd wait till Christmas sales.. This is even better. I own most of these but buying SR3 for 5.69 is worth it to me plus I added a little extra.

EDIT: And just to clarify Ford buddy I'm not giving away my keys.. I was just poking a little fun. hehehe Plus THQ is one of my Favorite devs.

Despite my earlier comment I've been thinking, what a douche I was being! It's great to have a giveaway even if everyone could afford whatever is being given away - it's nice to get something for nothing isn't it!

That being said I was going to buy this again for a giveaway but there's quite a few of you here already on that

They are almost at $2.5 Million in purchases. If we assume most people went with the default split on this bundle of 65% going to the developer, that means THQ has raised about $1.625 Million. It certainly won't make up for the $100 Million they lost on the uDraw, but hopefully it gives them enough to keep their doors open long enough to make it to the CoH2 release.

Haven't had time to install it. I let the PC on last night but the damned thing went into suspend even with the downloads running

BTW I think I just saw Darksiders 2 at OfficeDepot. I usually wait three/four months for a price drop but I'm going to make an exception this time.

I left it downloading while I was at work today, I'll let you know once I get off and have a chance to sit down and play.

That's hardly fair. Darksiders is good, and Company of Heroes was one of the best RTS ever until Relic brutally murdered its balance and gameplay with expansions, as has become their tradition since the first Dawn of War.
