Radeon 1.1.1.0 Manual?

Hi Folks,
I'm trying to figure out what I did to screw up my cards stabilization and what to do to get it fixed. I'm convinced that it has to do with my settings in RP and/or CCC and that these settings are trying to make the card work harder than it can.

So I’m looking for the RP 1.1.1.0 manual because if there's one thing i don't understand, it's setting the graphics so I have a minimum of 'shimmer' on distant water surfaces, or jagged edges outlining a cockpit or runway lines, (I think that's AA but there's so many variations), and a decent, not-too-soft, look in the scenery.

I'm sure if I have the latest manual and apply myself, I may be able to sort this stuff out and figure what I should use and what I should 'turn off'. But the manual I'm reading from is not the 1.1.1.0 version.

This is a little bit of a problem but if I have to, I'll just keep reading the one I have.

BTW, after I launch a game using the "play" option in a profile I set up, do I have to leave RP open? I mean, do I have to minimize it to the task-bar or can I close the darn thing?

And the same question applies to the "Global" settings; If I make adjustments under the "Global" tab, do I then have to leave the RP window open and minimized in the task-bar in order for those changes to run?

This version doesn't have a "Save" button like the 1.1.0.6 did, (when you made a change under the Global tab, a 'save' button would need to be clicked for the setting changes to be kept and applied).
Thanks, Rich

It might be worth posting at Radeon Pro's main thread.

Thanks,
I knew that the last time I touched base with RP it wasn't at techpowerup but I couldn't remember where and Google failed me, (or maybe I didn't ask the right question).
Rich

BTW, the "latest version and manual" links are outdated. Now that I saw the page, I remembered having been there yesterday and checking out the links provided but I never did post anything.
Thanks again

Are you certain a manual for 1.1.1.0 even exists? From RadeonPro's site, the latest user manual is 1.0.

Frankly, no. I'm no sure at all. In fact, your question just reminded me that this 1.1.1.0 version had to be given to me because the latest version I could get was 1.1.0.6.

Then someone on Guru3D sent me a link and said the word "preview", (actual versions full title is "1.1.1.0 preview"), implied it was a beta version...

So I'm pretty much betting that there isn't a manual for it yet.
Thanks for pointing that out.
