In need of a new card

SYSTEM SPECS:

600W Corsair Power Supply
PH877-v le mobo
Intel i5-3450 cpu
8GB corsair vengence RAM
500GB hard drive

AND

Gigabyte Radeon 7850 HD (OC EDITION)

Hi, recently I have found out that my Gigabyte Radeon 7850 HD (OC EDITION) is faulty and will hopefully be getting my money back as it was the second faulty one that I have recieved.
So I am in search of a new graphics card. My budget is is the £150-190 range. I was thinking of getting an ASUS 7850 or a gtx 660. Any opinions or thoughts would be appreciated. I need a reliable card!

I won't be meddling with over-clocking

I would also say 660,its faster than a 7870 and priced the same as the 7850,its probably the only 600 series card that is really well priced.

Edit:if your not going to overclock than the 660 is even a better choice now.

You dont have to do the overclocking, they have custom preclocked versions of every cards ever made. So they over clock it for you which means its faster than normal versions of the card with very little to lose.

And obviously, with better performance comes better cooling.
If you can get maybe 200-250 buy a superclocked gtx 660 so you dont have to overclock it your self, and make sure it comes with nice coolings so you dont have to worry about heat and noise.

All the cards mentioned are compatible with your specs yes.

Yes 600Watts is more than enough to feed that card and it should perform nicely along with your i5.

My experience of the pre-overclocked cards isn't good - i'd be fine with just a regular one

Which 660 is the best to get - so many manufacturers. Quietness is also a plus

The msi hawk is a good card, really quiet and cooled nicely. Im a big fan of asus, so if you're ever get an interest in them, i would suggest this http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/A..._Direct_Cu_II/.

Slightly better than the msi hawk at same price and slightly better cooling.

Yes pick the asus, the EVGA is good too..but EVGA are known to having faulty cards hence why they offer life time warranty.
but the 600 series dont have life time warranty offers with evga (not that i know of at least). SO you might as well get the asus gtx 660, it offers better cooling, and 3 year serial based warranty.

Last chance on the OC edition LOL http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-DirectC...6634935&sr=8-5

@DrDeathx, lol yes i read what he said, i just though instead of wasting money on another 7850 he could maybe add a little more and get a 7950 ($300-350) games being released are becoming more demanding and cards are getting out dated pretty fast lol.
