NZXT Kraken X60 280mm AIO LCS

So what happened to this awesome-looking all-in-one cooling system? http://www.nzxt.com/new/news_detail.php?id=317 It was announced for retail distribution over 6 weeks ago, and still no sign of it anywhere. I guess they ran into problems, because why else would they miss the lucrative holiday shopping season? This would really let me take advantage of all the topside area on my 400R, instead of there being empty honeycomb all around the radiator. I didn't expect vaporware from NZXT, since their recent success with cases like the Switch 810 and Phantom 820 has really put them on the map.

This is a hilariously coincidental happenstance.

brandon and I have been talking with the NZXT rep for some time now.

Kraken

I must have missed that discussion. I think these will sell very well once they have them on the shelves. Thank god someone came up with a different selling point, we've seen too many coolers with nothing to distinguish them from the rest. Now you can say to your friends, "You still have that chickenshit little H100? Check out MY system!" Oh, and as a bonus, it might actually run your CPU 4 or 5 degrees cooler. Now we'll need some better 140mm fans...

Prelim Kraken review

Amazon is taking preorders for the krakens as are some other retailers. Given the gamezoom review, it seems that the kraken x40 and corsair h80i are tied. The thermaltake water 2.0 pro for some reason falls way behind. This is making me think twice about getting the water 2.0 extreme. Though in one review the 2.0 extreme and the new h100i are tied.
