Upgrade from GTX460 768MB

My wife's rockin' a GTX 460, debating buying her a 7850 2GB or 660 ti for an upgrade. Cpu is a 2500k. Debating which GPU to go with. Thoughts? I have direct access to Frys, and Microcenter. I am not worried about AMD vs Nvidia, I hate them equally.

I agree. You need to start with atleast the 7870 for a decent upgrade.

7850 and the 660Ti are not quite in the same league regarding performance... and price.
So, if you think of spending between 250 and 300 then look at the 660Ti or HD7950.
7950 has the upper hand regarding overclocking potential and 3GB VRAM, 660Ti is better at stock in some AAA games.

Look no less than a 7950, anything less than that will leave you disappointed. Have you given a thought to OC the 460 if you haven't done so yet? They can hit gtx560 clocks with ease.

I'd choose the 7870 if I were you. But if you can stretch your budget, I'd go for a 7950.
