Ok boys, you spoke and we listened. We talked it over and lowered post count down to 100. Or 75 if you joined before 2012.

If you edited your post out, or if you didn't post a game because or not meeting the high count, please add in your game!

Thanks everyone

So.....

My best gift I received was the PS2 I got a few years after it came out. I was a huge Playstation fan, and played my PS1 all the time. My mother got me a PS2 unexpectedly, and it was a HUGE surprise. And guess what - we got it out of the box and it didn't work. LOL. She took it back the next day and got me a replacement. Either way it was awesome!

manofthem, I love your NONE FACEBOOK giveaways! You are a top dollar geeza!

Let me tell you what my most memorable gift was. It was Christmas and I was 6½, and really wanted a bike. I hadn't got one, and as you can imagine, my first bike was a big event. But what did I get? A terrible homemade toy crane! WHAT! It was the sort of thing that any 3 year old boy would love. But I was 6½! And mortified! And sad. How could my dad do that to me? Was he scrooge personified? Was this serious? Was it a joke? Was I being punished? Oh the shame... not only was a toy crane totally uninteresting... what would my friends think!

Anyway, my mum saved a little every week, and by my 7th birthday she had saved enough to buy a second hand bike. I was delighted!

Times were tough in 70s Britain. Power cuts, miners strikes, rail strikes, water shortages. Homemade toy cranes. No bikes.

++++++

Metro 2033 is my preferred choice. If that's gone already, then Shogun.

Heh, probably my best gift is the set of Sennheisers I just got myself. Unfortunately it means I don't eat for most of January! Perhaps a nice new game would help me get through the month, and I'll have something to test my new cans on too. Got to try Red Faction Armageddon for 1 day during steam free weekend. Wouldn't mind giving it another go!

A lot of giveaways towards the end of the year!

Anyway, the best gift I've received so far is a Houston Texans ticket my parents bought for me a couple of Christmases ago. We beat the Patriots and ended the year 9-7, so it was a great gift indeed!

Entering for a crack at Saints Row: The Third.

I'd like to enter for The witcher 2 assassins of kings

The best present I probably received was my first console. The PS1 when I was about 6-7 years old. Without that I wouldn't be into gaming I can remember it like yesterday. I had the original Gran Turismo and some monkey island game. Good days.

Thankyou very much for the giveaway, gets TPU in the Christmas spirit

I gave some money to a good charity, this is the response I received ..
Quote:
You can imagine my shock when I opened your envelope last night at the bank and saw a check for XXXXXXX. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for your generosity and compassion. You truly are making a difference in the lives of many this holiday season.
That was the best gift I got so far this year.

Thank you Manofthem, Mindweaver and anyone who contributed.
Your kindness and generosity does not go unnoticed and it is people like you who truly make the holiday season a special one for all of us.

I don't have any time to play games at the moment. So I am not in the running.
I just want you all to have a wonderful Christmas and I pray that you all are blessed throughout this coming new year.
Be thankful for all your family and friends, and take a moment to let them each know how much they mean to you, and how much you appreciate having them in your life. That will mean more to them than any gift you might buy for them.

God bless you all.

That moment when your shipment of new hardware finally arrives from awaiting the super saver option you picked upon ordering....

Now can I nit-pick a little... same as the other giveaway I just entered, I don't want any of the games for myself but this would be for my nephew who's just got his first (proper) PC. Being 12 and autistic his level of gaming isn't quite as others is. however he loves anything with a bit of shooting and not much puzzle solving so if there is anything left over of the sort could I request that I put my nephew in for the draw?
